Another Fabulous art piece, enjoy ;D
It is an art form called Zen Tangle. It is very fun to do but takes a lot of time. This piece was actually digitally created by taking a past work and cutting it to create mirror images. Don't stare at it too long, the circles start to move if you do.

Media Monday-Falling Skies
Well welcome to a new week! I'm still working on the book/conspiracy contest. I am somewhat sad that no one hasn't even commented on it yet! I shall show you how sad I am by making a face out of symbols - :c
Moving on...
Last night was the series premiere of Falling Skies; a television show about aliens invading earth and taking over. Now where have I heard that plot line before? Oh yeah; every other plot about aliens. But rudeness aside, it was from the creative genus of Steven Spielberg therefore it presented a redeeming quality to me before seeing it. That night I was completely blown away. Intense, moving,(somewhat) original; an overall good twist and an old idea. It was also not overly gory or unnecessarily sexual but it didn't sacrifice the gritty action or the romance. So do I suggest the rest of you see it? Completely and utterly!

Excerpt Sunday- Shadowside Chapter Two
Here you go, Enjoy!
Chapter 2: Bordertown
“The Night World isn’t a place. It’s all around us. The creatures of the Night World are beautiful and deadly and irresistible to humans. Your best friend could be one.”
Night World, L.J. Smith
I sat on the stone bench watching my daughter Asheyln whom I affectionately nicknamed Star, dance with her college class as part of the Autumn Festival celebration. I swayed to the music and looked over at my husband Donjo, who, unlike me, was sitting quietly, his face relaxed and thoughtful. My daughter and husband looked so much alike with their caramel skin and black hair tied up into dreadlocks. But their eyes were different; she had the eyes of a cat, green as the grass she twirled upon. He possessed the slit pupil of a snake that vanished within the blue of his irises. I stood apart with skin as pale as snow, contrasting with the razor thin scars from long ago, and the black peasant gown and satin gloves I wore. My long brown hair was pulled back into pigtails, their tips died blue and silver. Our clan was an odd mix, but here in Bordertown, odd was a commonality.
I have lived in this infamous city since I was four, when I was rescued by my adoptive mother Yue from a life as a street-rat and pickpocket. From that time on I had left the town of my origin to travel with my guardian and then with my husband and daughter, only to return again to attempt settling down.
The conurbation looked like someone had taken the cultures and eras from an ancient storybook to create an intricate landscape. Bordertown was famous for three things; a gathering of the Shadowlands’ freaks and criminals, a starting place for a life of adventure, and the strange wall of glassy fog that gave the gathering of buildings its namesake. It was said that beyond that fog lay the mythological Sun Land and around this time of year, when the veil was said to be at its weakest one could see glimpses of the mysterious terrain. They were just rumors though, and the supposed sightings were thought to be atmospheric disturbances from the change of weather. No one ever went through the fog to find out the truth for the High Council had put a fence around it and shot anyone who came too close. Ever since Donjo, Star and I had moved back I had developed a strange fascination for it and had made a livelihood of writing stories to add to the already extensive library on the Sun Lands, primarily Earth.
The dancing ceased and Star skipped over to where we were sitting. As she came closer I saw her collar, and my nose wrinkled in disgust. Both Donjo and Asheyln wore one, being descendants of the Egyptian Dragon Daemons. Their kind was known for being amazingly powerful and uncontrollable. Years ago, the High Council had forced every Egyptian Dragon Daemon to wear the collars that suppress their powers when they reached the year of thirteen. If they refused they risked being arrested and deported to Hel, a barren wasteland of a world used as a prison. The law was considered one of the longest forms of prejudice, but the Council was a tyrannical lot and refused to change it or allow any forms of protest. As much as I hated it, I wished not to sentence my family to the horrors of Hel.
“How did I do?” Star asked when she reached us. I smiled and stood up to hug her affectionately.
“You were marvelous!” I replied.
Star looked over at her father who nodded his head in agreement.
“Are you hungry?” I asked. “I am. I’ll go get some food for us.”
I got up without waiting for a response and walked slowly over to the concession stand. I looked back to see Star and Donjo idly talking, with Star being more focused on the gaggle of rather attractive young males that had gathered nearby. I rolled my eyes and smiled. My girl certainly had an interest in boys, and the pleasures that went with them. The word pleasure sparked a memory of dark alleys and even darker people in them. Stop it! Those days are through, my inner voice admonished. I looked away so family could not see my thoughts expressed in my eyes.
The menu was an interesting twist from what was usually offered due to the influx of tourists and vacationers. They had added blood flavored ketchup to the menu for the vampires and raw steak flavored hot dogs for the werewolves along with various other specialties for those with limited and unusual food options. I was about to order when an Aingel passed by with a salad. My senses were assaulted by her nauseatingly sweet aura. I wrinkled my nose in disgust. The winged girl noticed and waved a rude gesture as she passed out of sight. You better be thanking your lucky stars that we’re here and not down in Sin Street, I thought menacingly, or I’d be kicking your ass right now for that.
“My, my, what dirty thoughts, Jenna. You are Jenna, correct?” Someone said behind me. I spun around to find a man eyeing me. I gave him a quick look over. He was tall- six feet maybe- with a well-built body, like an athlete. He had blonde hair but I could tell it was dyed as his roots were darker. The man’s eyebrows and lips were pierced, and he wore a pair of skinny jeans, a black muscle shirt and a white jacket depicting a pattern of an F. He reminded me of someone I met before, but the time and place escaped my memory.
“Who the hell are you?” I asked defensibly. “And what the fuck are you doing in my head?”
He gave an exasperated look. “Again with the foul language,” he sighed. “What a betrayal of your intelligence.”
“Fuck you.”
I knew I should not have been rude but my encounter with the Aingel had left me very annoyed and sensitive to any confrontation. My mind was delineating who he could be and what his business was with me. The possibility that he was a fame seeker attempting desperately to get to Yue. She was a queen of her own world and was quite a celebrity for her wanton ways and popular among the lower classes for her distain of the High Council. However she kept me out of the limelight as much as possible, making that idea not as probable as it seemed. Then another option was that he had come for my books, but they were under a pen name, and truthfully, I personally did not think that anyone would take so much time out of their life for one of my paperback novels. The man tilted his head like he was listening for something. I realized what he was doing, again.
“Hey!” I shouted. “Get out of my head!”
“Make me,” the telepath retorted with a smirk. “And I can’t help it, you’re projecting.”
I scowled and someone shouted for us to move out of the line. Rolling my eyes, I retreated with the stranger following close behind. “I’m not here because of Queen Yue or because of your novels,” he insisted. “Though I have read them, and they’re alright but they do need work.”
“Get to the point.” I interrupted. “If you’re not here for my books or for Yue then why?” A thought occurred to me. “Oh god, you were sent by Amtrax weren’t you? I swear I paid that son of a bitch every cent I owed him. If he’s trying to blackmail me or my family I swear-!”
The man waved his hand dismissively. “I don’t work for some blood-thirsty drug lord,” he replied. “But if you want to find out the truth, you have to come with me.” He held out his hand and I got a glimpse of an intricate tattoo underneath his jacket sleeve. Looking over to where my family was, I saw that Star was gone, most likely flirting with the boys she had been eyeing earlier, but Donjo remained. He was staring at us, the tips of his leather-like wings peeking over his shoulders, a sign he thought there was a threat. My curiosity kicked in where was the threat that Donjo saw that I did not detect with my clairvoyance? I reluctantly took the stranger’s hand “This better not be some prank.” I threatened. He only smiled and ran, dragging me behind him.
The man drove a motorcycle, with a side car, which immediately destroyed any hope of respecting him plummet.
“I’m borrowing it from a friend,” he explained sheepishly. “Sorry, you’ll have to ride in it.” I seriously wondered if I should have just forgotten the entire thing and go back. He handed me a helmet. “You probably don’t want to do that,”he said. “Going back, I mean. You need to hear what I have to say.”
“Why not here then?” I asked. And spare me the agony of having to ride in that thing.
“It’s not secure here. Too many people,” he replied.
And people thought I was paranoid next thing I knew, he was going to be putting on a tinfoil cap saying that Earthling scientists had kidnapped and experimented on him. It might make a good topic for book though. With in mind, I grabbed the helmet. “Fine,” I said. “But you owe me big time for this embarrassment.”
We drove in the back alleys and unused side streets until we finally pulled into the parking lot of Freaky Cute, a store that sold everything from clothes to weapons to more taboo items. There was also a nice little café off to the side as well. After we parked and he helped me out, I yanked off the helmet and snarled at him. “Okay I’m here. Now will you tell me?” He ignored me and walked up to the store, leaving me to moan in frustration and follow. The man stepped spryly over the curb and headed over to the café part of Freaky Cute, sitting down on one of their Goth wire chair and table sets as I sat down in another.
“Now will you tell me?” I asked again, thoroughly annoyed.
“Do you want a drink?” he blurted out. “I hear they serve really good frapicinios here.”
Okay now you’re just trying to distract me. “If you don’t tell me right now I’m leaving.”
He smiled slyly. “But I’m your ride.”
“I’ll walk, it’s good for me.”
He sighed. “Alright,” he said. “My name is Shomaru and I’m the soulmate to Jenna; your soulmate.”
I gaped for a moment and questioned the man’s sanity even further. “Uh… No you’re not,” I corrected finally. “See, if you didn’t notice I’m married to a guy named Donjo and I love him very much. So if this is just some big plot to get me to commit adultery it’s not working.”
Shomaru’s shocked expression looked like somebody told him that he had grown a third arm. “You’re married?” He replied. “That’s … that’s not suppose to have happened.” I stood up, making my chair protest with metallic squeals as it was pushed back.
“Well, I’m sorry if your crazy little scheme didn’t work out the way you wanted it,” I said. “But I need to get back and make up for this colossal waste of my time.” I turned to go but his voice interrupted.
“Sit back down, there’s more.”
I turned to look at him and saw the happy, rude, smart aleck was gone and instead sat a much darker man with haunted eyes. I had seen those eyes before, somewhere, in a distant memory. I sat back down. “There is such thing as the Sun Lit Lands, such thing as Earth,” Shomaru intoned. “And you have just been awakened there.”
“Say what?”
He smiled but it was the smile of a predator, a snake. It sent shivers down my spine. “Ever heard of astral travel?” Shomaru questioned and I nodded. “Well, it’s kind of like that just a little more complicated. I can’t really tell you much more beyond that, at least till more things happen.”
“So why tell me at all?”
He shrugged. “Just to warn you.” Shomaru replied. ‘Things are going to get a little…odd. We don’t want you panicking, thinking you’re going crazy or something like that.” He winked; making it was obvious that he was holding something back.
“Who’s we?” I inquired in hopes of dragging it out of him. Shomaru shrugged again. “Nobody,” he said. “I probably should take you back now.”
I sighed. “Don’t bother. The festival is over now. Better just take me home.”
“Where you staying?”
“The Empress Hotel on Moon Street.”
He stood up and pulled out his keys as I stood up too and we made our way back to the motorcycle. “Your carriage, your highness,” he joked and handed me the helmet.
“Ha-ha,” I retorted and grabbed the helmet.
“By the way,” he added. “Perhaps it would be best if you didn’t tell your family about me or our meeting.”
I stared at him suspiciously. “Why shouldn’t I?”
“Just don’t.” And that ended the conversation.
We finally arrived at the hotel and I lifted myself up out of the side car.
“See ya,” Shomaru said. “I’ll be around.”
The engine reared back to life and he sped away, leaving me on the curb in the cold. I shook my head in disbelief. Weirdo I thought and walked inside, not talking to anyone until I reached my hotel suite. I opened the door. “Hey guys, I’m home.” I called out. “Sorry about-”
“Jenna where the hell have you been?” Donjo shouted back. “You had us all worried!” I stopped shocked at his reaction. “Okay since when Yue die and make you my mom?” I scoffed. “You don’t have to be so overprotective Fluffy.” Fluffy was an old nickname Yue had given him, which he absolutely hated and was a sure fire way to get him to shut up. He shook his head and I saw he had a phone in his hand. “You called her?” I asked disbelievingly. “Let me talk to her before you make it sound like I went and killed someone.” I wrenched the phone from his grasp and put the receiver up to my ear. “Hello?” I asked tentatively, completely opposite of my behavior to Donjo. My husband just shook his head again, sending his long dreadlocks in a flurry, and sat down in the nearby loveseat.
“Jenna. What happened?” Yue replied, near hysterical. “Donjo was telling me you just took off with this man and…”
“Mom, I’m fine,” I explained soothingly. But she was on a rampage.
“We thought you had, you had…”
I froze. “You thought I had met up with a contact.” I whispered, feeling old scars from the past needles in my arm. “Do you really not trust me, after all this time that I would never, ever, go back to that?”
Yue’s sobs became louder. “I’m so sorry Jenna. But we were so scared. We love you; we don’t want you to get hurt.”
“I know, Mom.” I deflated. “I just wished you let me explain before you became so panic-stricken.” I glanced over at Donjo, who was also losing his steam. “I probably should’ve said something before I took off. Hey, you still coming tomorrow? Star would really love to see you.” My mother gave her promise to come and we said our goodbyes. The conversation ended with a silent click and I returned my attention to Donjo.
“So?” I asked, still a little peeved.
“Sorry,” he replied, his head hanging down as he stared at the floor. I rolled my eyes and sat down next to him, wrapping my arms around his chest.
“Yeah, I’m sorry too,” I said into his shoulder. He shifted and swept me up into a giant hug and we reclined half- hazardously on the small couch. We lied there for awhile, silent, just letting our anger fade away.
Donjo stirred. “By the way, who was he and what did he want?”
I became stiff, and the thought crossed my mind that I should tell the truth and forget what Shomaru had told me to do. Why should I listen to him? I thought. I shouldn’t lie to my husband, to my family. Yet even as I thought this, something compelled at me to keep Shomaru a secret. The words were out of my mouth before I could reconsider. “He was just a fan of my books,” I fibbed, flawlessly. “He wanted to ask me about how I came up with the ideas for them.” I angled my head so I could look Donjo in the face, despite all my skills in the world of deception, he looked at me suspiciously.
“Okay,” he replied. “Can I ask you to stay away from him?”
“Why?” I asked slightly indignant for some reason. “Are fans such a threat?”
He just looked me. “No, it’s just that something about him makes me feel threatened,” he explained. “Makes me feel like you’re threatened.”
“Honey I’m fine.” I replied as we lay quietly and listened to the subsiding rainstorm.
The morning came, fresh and cold. Donjo was still fast asleep; I kissed him lightly on the cheek and slowly maneuvered off the couch. I went to our master bathroom to take a warm shower and slipped into my Gi. With that done, I left a note on a nearby table and silently slipped through the door.
I nearly missed the bus as it inched along like a giant yellow slug. As I hopped aboard, I noticed my shortness of breath. That’s weird, I thought. A short run like that? I shook it off and sat down near a window. The bus continued its pained crawl and I looked out the foggy, stained glass to let my mind wander. It lingered on my visit with Shomaru and I could not shake the strange feeling I had about him. The bus came to a stop and I exited in front of the dojo. I stepped inside and felt the familiar smell of well-worn rubber fill my nose. “Jenna! Glad you could come.” My sensei, Glen, shouted from his position at the front of the room. Glen and I had a strong and old relationship together being that I had been training with him since I was adopted my Yue. I smiled and walked over to my place on the mat, as a brown belt. The rest of my class began to trickle in and the training finally began. Most days I could fly through Glen’s exercises without even sweating, today I was struggling to get past ten push-ups and it frightened me. ‘Things are going to get a little… odd.” Wasn’t that what Shomaru has said?
“Hey, Jenna, are you okay?” Glen called over to me concerned.
I nodded. “Must be an off day.” I called back. God, I was going to kill Shomaru if he had anything to do with this.
The hour passed and the class ended. The students moved out of the building at an even slower pace than when they came in, nursing bruises and sore muscles. I was about to step out the door with them when Glen stopped me.
“Jenna, what the heck happened back there?” he asked, worry gleaming in his eyes like the Northern Lights. He placed a hand on my shoulder.
“Glen, I’m fine,” I replied. “It was just a bad day.” He did not believe me.
“Look Jenna, if something is happening…”
I started to get a little irritated and pulled out of his grasp. “Nothing is happening Glen! I need to go!” I walked out to find that my bus had left without me, nearly screaming, I stormed down the street, ignoring Glen’s calls to return.
Half a block in, I was heaving and my teeth, of all things, were aching. I stopped and leaned on a nearby building, trying to catch my breath. A shadow moved, and I spun to see the source of the movement. The street was empty. Goosebumps ran down my arms and I began my walk again, but faster, wanting to get back home to safety. I passed an intersection and a man stepped into my path. He had long unkempt black hair, and wore a black coat. Not unusual in the streets of Bordertown, but his face distinguished him from the rest. His eyes were dull and cold, like a dead man. His face had sharp pointed features covered in scars. His smile was comprised of sharp little teeth, reminding me of a fox, or a wolf, with rabies. I stopped; looking at him, with fear was squeezing my heart. Survival instincts made me look around for escape routes or for help. The street was inbetween two grey gothic monsters of buildings and was, at the moment, deserted. He took a step toward me.
“Hello, Jenna,” he said.
How did he know my name? The same possibilities that had come to me with Shomaru came to me again, with the same responses. My fear increased.
“My master need you to come with me. There’s something we need from you.”
I backed away still completely afraid. I felt my hands touch the cold brick. “Come with me,” he repeated and I shook my head in response.
“Who do you work for?” I asked defiantly through my shaky voice.
The smile faded. He nodded to someone behind me and I turned to see where he motioned. All I saw was my own shadow. I looked back at the stranger questioningly until I heard a rustling sound similar to that of a section cup coming off the wall. Against my better judgment, I turned back to look at my shadow again. It had morphed into something else. Instead of a flat black human shape, an enormous oily wolf creature bore down on me, peeling of the wall like an old sticker. I looked down the street and saw that more shadows were coming off the walls. The crazy stranger had Shadowlings working for him!
Most people would say that Shadowlings and Shadows were a myth but I knew better, along with half of the Shadowlands’ lower classes. These things are vicious creatures made of pure darkness. One scratch of their venomous claws could turn a person into one of them. They were not intentionally sinister though, they had to infect others if they were to mature into Shadows, and Shadows, in turn, into Shadow Demons. Regardless I still did not want to be even touched by one since there was no cure for their poison.
“Shit!” I screamed and bolted.
“After her!” the stranger shouted. The shadows melted together into a giant black wave. I moved out to the road as a line of cars and other vehicles appeared around the corner and pole-vaulted over one as the wave followed closely behind me. I had but one thought in my head at this point: RUN LIKE HELL! Another black mass cut all directions of escape, except one that lead to an alley. Great… I thought as I took off down the dark trail. The mass followed, of course. My breath was coming in shorter gasps and my entire body was on fire. I did not know how much longer I was going to be able to run. A different stranger stepped out in my path and I collided with him. He was about my height with short black hair, slanted eyes, and I felt as though I knew him somehow.
Duc… My subconscious echoed. He looked at me oddly, like he somehow knew me too. “Duc!” I shouted out of desperation. “You have to help me. I’m being chased by Shadowlings.” Duc’s face changed from quizzical to a panicked confusion.
“How do you know my other name?” he interrogated, squeezing his hands around my arms to immobilize me. “Who are you?”
I turned and saw the Shadowlings closing in. “I don’t know how I know your name!” I cried. “But you have to help me!” Duc did not let go and continued to shout the same question. The blackness came closer. I struggled to get free, but Duc would not let go. Finally, I stepped on his foot. He let out a little gasp of pain and his grip on my arms lessened; I wiggled out of his hold and ran at a renewed pace, not bothering to look back. The alley fell away to another street. Another stranger appeared, this time a girl with blonde hair. I ignored her when she came before me having learned my lesson with “Duc” even as the name Lynden passed through my mind. But as I passed by her, I felt a tingle of electrical energy move through me. I ran two feet beyond her and stopped, turning back, unable to go on. The Shadowlings pursuing me had gathered into a herd the size of mammoths. Every bit of blood in my face fled; leaving me with the complexion of a wraith.
“Shit,” I muttered. ‘Lynden’ looked up too and with one swift movement pulled out a giant staff from nowhere, pointing it at the Shadows.
“Get behind me!” she shouted. I was in no mood to argue, or ask why she was helping me.
The staff was made of bamboo but it become a smooth white pillar as ice crawled speedily over it and burst out into a spray of sharp shards, resembling falling stars as the light reflected off them. My heart pounded and adrenaline forced up more goosebumps all along my arms. A sharp pain in my chest broke through and I hit the street. My vision blurred for second.
“Move back! Move back!” Lynden commanded.
The ice shards had no effect, passing through their liquid-like bodies. She attempted to freeze a wall around the entryway but the ice could not form fast enough before their weight broke it down. The pain returned and my chest felt like it was impaled on a blade. I gasped for breath and seeing I could not move Lynden picked me up and moved me behind a nearby cart. Some of the Shadowlings broke completely through and charged her. With a rapid spin kick she shoved a wolf-shaped Shadowling one into a nearby one shaped like a crocodile, sending the later across the street. She turned to check on me but as she did the wolf leapt again.
“Watch out!” I rasped through my pain.
Lynden pulled out a knife from her boot and stabbed it repeatedly, . The crocodile sped from the other side of the street and soared onto her back, snapping its jaws, pulling her away from its fallen comrade. She dropped her staff and struggled to keep her neck from its long snout, reaching back to attempt to pull it off. With the staff no longer in use, the Shadows began trickle in faster. Lynden noticed and cried out, “Ren! Help your mistress!”
The black shape that was Lynden’s shadow began to shiver and stretch, like someone waking up. With the same suction cup sound that the first Shadow made, it ripped itself off the concrete and formed an identical twin, complete with a combat outfit with weapons tied everywhere to her . The twin pulled a gun from her belt and shot the Shadow three times. It screamed in pain and frustration before melting away like snow.
I barely saw it all as my vision became black around the edges. What the hell is happening to me? I thought panicked, am I dying? Lynden and the twin formed a protective wall around me as the Shadows closed in. It is so sad, I continued to think, that I will die without being able to fight back.
Why don’t you fight back? A familiar voice added to my ponderings. A familiar voice….
I can’t, I think I’m dying, I replied.
No, you’re not. You’re transforming.
Come again?
Get up and fight. Use me.
My vision returned and the pain manifested into a glowing blue orb around my chest. I stood up without thinking or planning. “Get down!” I screamed and my two protectors ducked obediently. I reached out my hand and let the azure light stream down my arm. The world went white and I heard a thousand screams as the Shadowlings disappeared into the flash. My energy completely spent, I fell to the ground as my consciousness fled. The last thing I remembered before my vision went was seeing ‘Lynden’ leaning over me. “Whoa,” she whispered. My world went black.

Dream On! Dream On!
As promised I have come with a new metaphysical/supernatural topic to discuss. This Friday we are talking about Astral Travel! This topic came to my attention when I decided to talk about my very vivid dreams to someone (who for the sake of privacy I will not mention their names, their relationship to me and the state of their sanity) I thought hey why not talk about it?
Astral Travel is another name for an Out-Of-Body-Experience (or OBE for short) when the consciousness literally leaves the body and travels to realms unknown. In many cultures these travels are linked to the afterlife and the realms of gods. Many OBEs can be experianced in dreams, hence why my source suggested Astral Travel and why I titled today's post the way I did.
Apparently humans have been doing this since forever, or at least as far back as our ancestors' records allow us to see. In ancient Egypt, they believed the body had two souls; a Ka and a Ba. The Ba was for the afterlife but the Ka could hover outside the body, allowing for visits to the other realms of existences. There is even some mentioning of it in the Bible. Astral Travel has also appeared in China, Japan, India, the Amazon, and Inuit cultures.
There are actually a few people who have practiced and written about Astral Travel. The oldest one I found so far was Emanuel Swedenborg who lived during the 18th century and wrote much about his experiences.
Robert Monroe was the one who came up with the term OBE and founded an institute dedicated to the studies
Waldo Veira is a dentist and a physician, not a scientist but what makes him connected to Astral Travel is the fact that he claimed to have his first OBE at the age of nine and continuously had them since then. He wrote several books on the subject and became a major figure in the study.
Pretty much anyone can have an OBE. In the 1960s and 70s there were several surveys that revealed that 8 percent to 50 percent of people (depending on the group and area) had an experience. Though because the whole entire idea is subjective and spontaneous any rock solid fact is subject to a good amount of scrutiny.
And just for the heck of it, I thought I'd put a list of directions on how to do it yourself. Not saying it will work, it will just be a fun little activity that you can try and then make fun of later
1.Simply lay down with the lights off. Make sure you are completely relaxed. Lie there and be quite and still, calm and clear your mind.
2.Imagine your astral body which may look like gray matter shaped in the form of your body. Imagine it lifting and floating out of your body, floating up to the ceiling in your room.
3.Turn and look down and try to see you body lying there. If you are successful you may want to stay in the room and float around a bit, staying close to the body. Or you can choose to walk through walls and travel to where ever you wish to go. You can fly there or you can will yourself there instantly.
See you Sunday with the second chapter of my book! Remember to post your crazy conspiracies for my contest!

See you Sunday with the second chapter of my book! Remember to post your crazy conspiracies for my contest!

Picture Wednesday, a day late
I am so sorry! I have been in this constant state of not firmly knowing what day it is and I completely forgot about blogging yesterday! But don't worry I will blog tomorrow and on Sunday.
I know I said I was going to feature other people's work but I a few pieces I have never shown you. I thought why not show you them until they run out and if I still I haven't fixed my lack of computer programs, then I'll start showing you others' work.
Today I will be showing the two best designs I have of one of my characters in my book! He will be appearing in Chapter Two which will be unveiled on Sunday.
I based this one off of Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7.
This one is supposedly his battle attire, with a different hairstyle.
So when you read Chapter Two you can think of either picture when trying to image this... interesting character.
See Ya Friday!

Media Monday: Welcome Back, Updates, and CONTEST!!
Well, hello there!
Sorry I haven't written anything in a while, I've been very busy. First there was graduating from High School (Officially adult YES!) and then there was moving. Yes folks I am no longer in sunny California where the only green you're gonna get is a cactus. Instead I will be on the East Coast, lots of rain, cool landmarks and a whole host of over things. Well moving on to the important stuff.
I will be continuing my usual scheduling of posts, however Picture Wednesday may not be my art for awhile. I use, as you all know, a computer program to color my work. I use a desktop (my laptop is only lame for one reason and this is it) but sense I am not in my normal room where it lives I'm without my tools. So I will feature other artists that I think are talented!
As for Excerpt Sunday I wanted to wait until I had them all through the edits processes BUT some editors are really slow. So you get read to read them with all the mistakes. Mabye you guys can edit them for me.
I am also currently working on another book which will actually be done soon. It is a poetry book called goddess girl and sky boy, which will feature my art and my poetry.
I am thinking of putting on a little contest of who can give me the craziest and most unique conspiracy theory (and it doesn't have to be yours originally it just needs to be one I haven't heard, I'll let you know if I have)
Here are the rules-
-Follow my blog (because I'm seriously tired of having only two followers, come on people)
-Leave me a comment (And please be a tad bit serious about it. No "Your Mom" or anything like that)
- I chose (I'll give you a closing date as soon as I see how many people participating)
- Winner gets a free copy of my book (which you may or may not care about) and bragging rights)
So my only two follower,s go and indoctrinate!
